CENTEC SONATEC TR sensors very accurately measure the speed of sound through liquids, which correlates with solution concentration; installed in-line for fast response and easy cleaning. Data is displayed °Brix, %w/w, %v/v, etc. Sugar solution concentrations for example, are displayed locally and can be transmitted as a 4-20 mA or Profibus DP output to a process control system. SONATEC TR can also be used for fluid ‘interface detection’ to monitor any changes in the liquid passing through the pipe or for final inspection just before the filler.

SONATEC HW like SONATEC TR also measures ultrasound velocity through liquids. The HW is mounted into the wall of a vessel making it ideal for monitoring a process such as evaporation, batch dilution or for product inspection/monitoring. A CIP spray nozzle and sample point are offered as an options.

CENTEC RHOTEC TR - An on-line device for accurately determining liquid density by measuring small changes in the high frequency oscillation of a U tube. TR units have a large programmable product memory for alarm points setting.

CENTEC OXYTRANS measures the oxygen content both dissolved in water & liquids or in mixed gases. Highly accurate down to 1 pbb. The optical devices have low maintenance requirements, typically only needing a sensing window change every 18 months.

CENTEC CARBOTEC TR-PT in-line sensors measure the dissolved gas content of carbonated drinks. A small sample of product is taken every 20 seconds and decompressed by a known volume, during which time changes in pressure and temperature are accurately monitored. The sample returns to the line. The sensor head is CIPable.

CENTEC SDA 500 - Soft Drinks Analysers can include any of the above devices depending on customer requirements. They are installed before the filler as a final inspection station. SDA 500 includes a programmable Centec MCM system to monitor a wide range parameters such as °Brix, %Diet, CO2, O2, Conductivity, pH, temperature, pressure, etc. Alarm points can be set for 150+ products to automatically warn operators about any product quality issues.

TR Transmitters are used on Centec sensors. Inside their robust IP65 housings they receive data from the sensor transducers and process it into useful information. Data is displayed on a LCD screen. I/O signals include analogue, digital and Profibus DP for communication with process control systems and other devices. TR Transmitters are stand alone devices with a local and remote display options. They are programmable for a large number of products, each with their own configurable analogue and digital I/O set-up. For expanding the process automation functionality, consider adding a Centec MCM (a mini PLC).

Speedy Breedy - Consumer protection for all drinks producers is a moral obligation and a legal requirement under food safety legislation in most countries. The fast and effective detection and elimination of microbial contamination is essential in any good HACCP system.

Speedy Breedy is easy & quick to use, available 24/7 - Great for busy process operators or lab technicians. With minimal training, it can provide early warning of infection even in a few hours. An alarm email can be sent automatically to key personnel - Significantly faster and more pro-active than traditional agar plates.

Quickly test for general contamination or for specific organisms by using the selective media vessels, under automatic control in totally sealed test conditions, e.g.: E.Coli, Pseudomonas, Streptococci and many more.

Detection times of around 24hr were observed for the lowest level of 102 cfu/ml which is markedly shorter than the 2-5 days required for the conventional count.
